Adderall is a drug which is primarily used to treat ADHD (Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) in adult and child.3:1 ratio dextro- to levo-amphetamine ratio.3 Tablet can be crushed.The generic drug recall was issued on August 14 for one lot of Dextroamphetamine Saccharate, Amphetamine Aspartate, Dextroamphetamine Sulfate and Amphetamine Sulfate (mixed amphetamine salts) 20 mg tablets, which were sold in 100 count bottles. Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention.Dextroamphetamine-. Unusual tiredness or weakness. Uncontrolled repeated movements (tics) uncontrolled vocal outbursts. Swelling of the feet or lower legs. Sudden loss of consciousness.Marshals raided generic drug manufacturer Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Ltd., shutting down production due to unsafe manufacturing processes that allowed similar problems to occur. Any adverse reactions should be reported to the FDA’s MedWatch program.The recall is the latest in a string of recalls involving generic drugs that were distributed with too much of the active medication in each tablet.In late June 2009, U.S. Consumers who have any of the recalled dextroamphetamine/amphetamine tablets have been advised to stop using the drug and contact their doctor or pharmacist. When she looked at them she just took her fingers and turned them around to make them look like they were all the same, when I know they are not, and can prove it. Which is ILLEGAL! I even went to my cvs, showed them several pills and how when you flip them the numbers are backwards/ sideways, etc. I have even showed my doctors, and a compound pharmacy, and I found out that they are all different! Cvs just gives you whatever they have in stock, and they don't tell you if its several different kinds of the same generic version. Why do you think 8 out of every 10 medications are generic in the U.S., because they don't want you to have the real stuff, so they jack the brand name pill prices as high as they can so no body can afford them or have them. I know the difference between Brand name, generic, all the different manufactures, and I will tell you Teva, and Mylan are schemers.
